Prabhu Deva, born 4/3/1973 is a two time National Film Award winning Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and director. He was inspired by his father, known as Mugur Sundar Sundaram Master, who was a dancing master for popular South Indian film. His brothers Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad is also established South Indian choreographers.
Deva's success resulted largely from his dancing. In 1999 appeared Shobhana Deva and AR Rahman in a Tamil movie dance group of "Michael Jackson and Friends" concert in Munich, Germany. He has a significant fan following in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry.
He is twice winner of the National Film Award for Best Choreography for his work with the film Minsaara Kanavu 1997 in Tamil and Lakshya in Hindi in 2004, and a Filmfare Best Choreography Award for the Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana 2005.
