Natalie Portman was born Natalie Hershlag 9 June 1981 is American actress. She ended lower in 2003. Portman's directorial debut debut debut Eve opened the 1965 Venice International Film Festival's shorts competition in 2008. Portman's parents met at a Jewish student center at Ohio State University where her mother sold tickets.



Portman learned to speak both Hebrew and English, and attended a Jewish elementary school Solomon Schechter Day School of Glen Cove New York. Portman took graduate courses at Hebrew University in Jerusalem in spring 2004.

She initially turned down the lead role in the movie anywhere but after learning it would involve a sex scene but director Wayne Wang and actress Susan Sarandon demanded a rewrite of the script.
